Welcome to the International Department of Hamilton Christian School. We offer our international students a well-balanced programme that encompasses all areas of our curriculum including academics, sport and ESOL support (English for Speakers of Other Languages).

We feel that it is vital for international students to enjoy the full New Zealand educational experience; students take part in all areas of our mainstream school activities. This would include students participating in educational outings and trips and taking part in school community events.

As a Christian school, we are passionate about seeing our students develop a personal, loving relationship with Christ. Our staff are committed Christians and teachers aim to make the learning experience both spiritual and personal for the students. The Christ-centred focus of school helps students develop into confident, hard-working and well-mannered young people.
